WhiteKnightTwo has already made a <a href=\"http:\/\/thelaunchpad.xprize.org\/2008\/12\/whiteknighttwo-makes-its-maiden-flight.html\">test flight<\/a>, and they&#8217;re still on track for regular flights up in 2010. <\/p>\n<p>The trip up to the very edge of space is $20,000, but I might as well save the kids college fund until we can get up to orbit proper. And then, as Heinlein said, you&#8217;re halfway to everywhere in the solar system.
