I mean, the notion that physicists are a hair away from destroying existence is kind of cool. The notion that all of this nonsense is being pushed by a misguided &#8212; albeit earnest &#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lhcdefense.org\/\">nut<\/a>. (Aside: I don&#8217;t think its fair to deride Walter Wagner because he only has an undergraduate degree. He was a working physicist, as a safety officer at a VA hospital.
