He then went on to discover previously unrecognized inherited disorders.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Now, I know the Amish have their problems&#8230;I used to see quite a few Amish kids while working as a clerk in a children&#8217;s hospital ER, but the only physical disorders I ever saw was polydactylism. <\/p>\n<p>Not to be an Amish basher (although the chances of them reading this are&#8230;erm&#8230;small), but it makes me wonder where the Amish dwarfs are hidden (especially after reading <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fourhourworkweek.com\/blog\/2008\/07\/15\/escaping-the-amish-part-1\/\">this tale <\/a>of the harsh realities of growing up Amish).   <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Or Dwarves, for you Tolkein fans.
