Is it worth a substantial part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2007\/08\/19\/AR2007081900885.html?hpid=topnews\">$15 billion that the Bush admin<\/a> is throwing its way?<\/p>\n<p>To be honest, I&#8217;m a bit mixed on this. On one hand, you have claims that circumcision helps a great deal &#8211; &#8220;cutting&#8221; infection rates <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/health\/6176209.stm\">by half<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Of course, that just means that African men are flipping a coin everytime they dip it.\u00c2\u00a0 Those still don&#8217;t sound like great odds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Is circumcision really the way to fight AIDS in Africa?
