Turns out, it just makes you unable to actually see the scale.<\/p>\n<p>I must say, this is, perhaps, the most outrageously stupid thing I&#8217;ve ever heard a grown, seemingly intelligent, person say:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span class=\"template\"><span class=\"body\">&#8220;We get our energy from plants,&#8221; she says. &#8220;And plants get their energy from the sun. Why not cut out the middle man?&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Why not, indeed.
